Questions

Buying

How much does Moor cost?

$29 once. There's no subscription. The price above is live, so it always shows what you'd pay today.

What does the free trial include?

Everything, for 14 days, with no card and no account. After that, Moor stops until you buy a license or enter your key; Apple's Dock comes back and your setup is kept for when you activate.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Within 30 days, for any reason. See the refund policy. A refunded key stops working.

Do updates cost extra?

No. Your license includes every Moor 1.x update. A future major version may need a new purchase.

I lost my license key.

Use Find my license with the email you bought with and your billing postal code. The key appears right on the page.

Setup

What do I need?

A Mac with macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later, Apple silicon. Moor needs macOS 26 and won't run on older versions.

Does it replace Apple's Dock?

It can. Each profile can keep Apple's Dock, replace it with Moor's docks, or use both. Quit Moor and Apple's Dock comes right back.

What permissions does it ask for?

Accessibility, so the dock can show badges, minimized windows and jump to windows. Calendar, Notifications and Screen Recording (for window previews) are optional. Moor asks only when you turn on something that needs one. See Permissions.

How do I go back to Apple's Dock?

Quit Moor, or choose Restore Original Dock in the menu bar or Settings. Moor saves your Dock once, before it changes anything. Uninstalling from inside Moor restores it too.

Can I bring my uBar or ActiveDock setup?

Yes. In Settings → Docks, the + menu has Import from uBar, Import from ActiveDock and Import from Another Dock App…. See Docks.

Privacy

What does Moor collect?

Nothing by default. There are no accounts or ads. Anonymous usage sharing is off unless you turn it on, and crash reports are sent only if you allow them. See the privacy policy.

Where do my API keys go?

Into your Mac's Keychain, and only to the service they belong to. They are never in your profiles, docks or exports.

Does Moor contact you to check my license?

No. License keys are checked on your Mac, so Moor works offline and activation never contacts us.

Automation

Can an AI agent control Moor?

Yes. Moor has an MCP server (claude mcp add moor -- moor mcp) and a local API, so Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client can set up docks, profiles and widgets on your Mac. See Agents & API.

What else can I script?

Every action is a moor:// link, and there's a moor command-line tool, Shortcuts actions, Alfred and Stream Deck. See Automation.

Teams

Can my team share one license?

No. A license is for one person. Each person who uses Moor needs their own, as the EULA says.

Can I use one license on all my Macs?

Yes. It covers every Mac you own or control, for personal or internal business use.

Is there volume pricing?

Not at the moment. If you need something we don't offer, write to support@moorapp.com.
