# Deck: Your desktop, at a glance.

Deck is Moor's part for the desktop. Moor's widgets sit over the wallpaper, under every window, full size. Sales, builds, agents, your next meeting.

Stands in for: Desktop widgets. Included with Moor ($29 once, 14-day free trial). Off until you turn it on in Settings → Parts.

## What Deck does

- **The same widgets.** All 50 of Moor's widgets, the ones in your docks: revenue, CI, coding agents, calendar, music and more.
- **Edit in place.** Drag to move, snapping to an 8-point grid. Resize and remove from each widget's menu. Or use the keyboard.
- **A layout per display.** A widget remembers its display, and goes back there when you plug it in.
- **A layout per profile.** Optional. Give a profile its own desktop widgets. Switch profiles and the desktop follows.
- **Clicks go through.** A widget with nothing to click lets clicks through to the desktop. Now Playing still plays and pauses.
- **Out of the way.** Widgets hide while an app is full screen on their display, and pause while the screen sleeps.

## Desktop widgets, or Deck?

Where macOS wins: Apple's widgets are built in and include your iPhone's widgets.

## Permissions

- **None:** Deck needs no permissions. A widget that needs an account says so, as it does in a dock.

## Shortcuts

- Move a widget, in edit mode: Arrow keys (⇧ for bigger steps)
- Remove a widget, in edit mode: Delete
- Leave edit mode: Esc

Open edit mode from Settings → Deck or the Deck menu in Moor's menu bar menu.
